If you are using AOL, the default setting on your browser is set to compress graphics that you view on the internet, thus you cannot see the true quality of  photos.  To uncompress your graphics, do the following before attempting to view the photos:

AOL 6.0

  1. Drop down the "Settings" menu.

  2. Click on "Preferences"

  3. Click on "Internet Properties (WWW)

  4. Click the "Web Graphics" tab.

  5. Click "Never Compress Graphics"

  6. Click "Okay"

 

AOL 4.0, 5.0

  1. Go to "My AOL"

  2. Select "preferences"

  3. Select "WWW" Select "web graphics"

  4. Uncheck the "compressed graphics" box, click "OK."
